Send Back-Order Notification To Customer When A Product Is Out Of Stock in Shopify by Using Arigato Automation

You can now import the ".arigato" workflow file you downloaded into the app.

  1. Open the Arigato Automation app in your Shopify admin.
  2. Visit the "Import & Export" page within the app.
  3. Scroll to bottom and upload your file to import the workflow.

This automation fires when an order is paid for in your Shopify store. It checks all items in the order and if a product in the order is oversold or is not in stock, it will email the customer with a list of items that are back ordered. 

The workflow is fully customizable so you can set your own parameters for when it should fire. You may want to limit the notifications to only send when a certain product or products from a certain vendor are back ordered for example. The email itself is also customizable so you can craft the perfect message.
