This example automation fires when product inventory changes and only one item remains in stock. The automation then sets a configurable metafield to whatever message you choose. Use the metafield in your theme customizations to create urgency any place the product is displayed. Our example automation also removes the value when stock levels increase. You can decide the stock thresholds or any other conditions. For example, you could apply the concept to flag items with "low quantities" based on whatever your own definition of "low quantities" is.
