Add New Customers To A Google Sheets Spreadsheet in Shopify by Using
Mr. Arigato Task Automator
This automation eliminates the need for managing data exports of customers. Just set it up and customer data will automatically flow into your Google Sheet whenever a customer is created.
You can now import the ".arigato" workflow file you downloaded into the app.
- Open the Mr. Arigato - Task Automator app in your Shopify admin.
- Visit the "Import & Export" page within the app.
- Scroll to bottom and upload your file to import the workflow.
This workflow fires when a customer is created. It then transfers whatever data points you choose into the Sheet. Our example workflow is preconfigured to send the customer's first and last name, their email, their phone number, the date and time the order was created, whether or not they accept marketing, and their address data.
You can adjust the automation as you see fit, to send additional data points, such as customer metafield values, or customer tags.
