Add and remove product tags based on inventory levels, ensuring accurate product categorization.
The automation is fired when a product is updated or sold. The app then checks if the inventory level has changed past the threshold. Depending on the preset conditions, the app tags the product with one tag if the quantity is above the threshold and another if it's below. This automation can also be extended to move the product from one collection to another, depending on the same quantity threshold.
This automation is highly beneficial for implementing grouped product decisions. For example; If you would like to promote products with a certain tag or in a certain collection. However, you want to run the promotion up to a certain inventory level; this automation will be the best fit. The products will be automatically un-tagged with the 'promo' tag and removed from the 'promo' collection.
ProTips: When implementing the workflow, be sure to preset the products' conditions such that all the products will have their expected tags depending on their inventory levels at the time.
