You can now import the ".arigato" workflow file you downloaded into the app.
- Open the Arigato Automation app in your Shopify admin.
- Visit the "Import & Export" page within the app.
- Scroll to bottom and upload your file to import the workflow.
This automation is fired every time an order is raised. The workflow checks if the customer has more than two orders, and if more than two of them are pending, then notifies the merchant via email.
With this automation, it's possible to control debtors and ensure that they don't hit their pending orders limit. This automation is heavily applicable to merchants selling items on credit.
Pro Tips: Since Shopify has a limit on the number of orders you can load via the API, it's important to keep the number of pending orders below 250 for accurate results. Otherwise, this solution would not work for stores with a massive number of unpaid orders.
