Delete draft orders upon payment and conversion to sales orders, ensuring a clean order database.
The automation fires up when you update the "accept payment" section from the draft order, converting a draft order to a real order. This happens when you accept payment, creating a paid order or when you mark as pending, creating a sales order that is still pending, awaiting payment. In addition to the Shopify interface's manual actions, the automation can also be started by any app that converts draft orders to real orders. The automation then checks to verify that the new order has been created and delete the draft order.
This example can be used by shop owners and sales teams to monitor quotes to sales conversion and track issued quotations. This will provide the team with easy access to a clear list of pending quotes that they need to act on.
